It's the start of the 2nd week in the ward and I think I am getting used to the routine.

Not feeling so tired at least.

Tomorrow will be the DM posting and on Wednesday will be my day off. When Thursday comes, I will be solely in-charge of a team ! *Nervous* Everything then will be under my charge and I will have to make my own decisions.

50 days more to JCI re-accrediation !! There was a pre-audit in our ward today. I was suposed to bunk off at 1430hrs but the nurse manager asked me to stay behind to observe how an audit is done and if possible, volunteer for questions answering if possible.

And I did.

It was definately nerve-wrecking but I did learn a lot. At least now I'm more aware of what I-don't-know.

Anyway Sarah and myself have decided to go to Hong Kong in August but the return flight back to Singapore is not confirmed yet as we are still in search of a place to stay in. If we can find a affordable yet suitable accomodation, we will stay for a longer period. If not we will keep it to a short trip.

*Fingers crossed*

3 weeks of orientation has finally ended today!! 

And on the coming Monday (25/02/08)  would be my first day in ward 26 ! It's an "A" class ward and I really don't know what to expect. Ms Yeo, my lecturer explained that service would be upmost important and I will have to be confident and pleasant looking.

I'm feeling so apprehensive and excited at the same time !

During the 3 weeks orientation, we got to know more of the hospital and its system. And yesterday, we were tested on BCLS !! It wasn't as difficult as I did it for the first time in school. Apparantly this time, it was quite easy in terms of both theory and practical.  And we finished class earliest yesterday at 3.30pm !!

Hence my group members and I rushed home to complete our project which was supposed to be presented today but because there wasn't enough time, my group's presentation was postponed to Monday. I felt so bummed !! I mean I stayed up till 3am to perfect it and work starts at 8.30am the next morning and only to find that we will only be presenting on Monday !! *Bummed*

Anyway it was all fun at orientation too !

By the way it was my GRADUATION CEREMONY on 20th Feb 2008 !! Short and sweet. The ceremony was filled with many fond memories, laughters and photo-taking !!! Here's a look at my award presention..

I spent my Valentine's Day this year like any other days; at home.

Firstly, I was not feeling well. I'm down with high fever for the past few days. That's why I have not been blogging.

Now that I'm feeling better, here I am ! Happy Valentine's Day !! Cheers !!
